Now Hiring: Childcare Enrichment Worker
The Zone Academy is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Childcare Enrichment Worker to join our licensed 5-Star, nationally accredited out-of-school-time program in Tulsa.
This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with elementary-age children, can lead activities with confidence, is active, and wants to make a positive difference in the lives of students after school, during school breaks, and in the summer.
Schedule
Part-time during the school year, with additional hours available during summer and school breaks.
School Year Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 1:30-5:30 PM
Summer/School Break Hours: Monday-Friday, hours may vary between 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Expected Hours: About 20 hours per week during the school year, up to 40 hours during summer/breaks
Pay
$11-$13 per hour, depending on experience and reference checks
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a licensed childcare center or with preschool/school-age children
- Enjoys working with children and brings positive energy each day
- Can actively supervise and manage a group of up to 12 students
- Is reliable, dedicated, and ready to be part of a team
- Can lead high-energy activities, games, and enrichment lessons
- Can follow simple lesson plans, schedules, and daily expectations
- Is willing to complete required professional development each year
Requirements
- Must pass an Oklahoma background check
- Must provide 3 work related references
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand, move, play, and actively engage with children during shift
Please note: This position is not for infant/toddler care. We are hiring for staff who can work with preschool and elementary-age students. Must have experience with these ages.
