As a Pipe Welder, you will play a key role in fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems using a range of welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and isometric drawings to determine project requirements.

Fit, align, and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy pipe according to specifications.

Perform TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding as required by the project.

Prepare materials by cutting, beveling, grinding, painting, and cleaning pipe surfaces to ensure proper weld quality.

Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

Repair defective welds and perform maintenance on piping systems as needed.

Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Collaborate with pipefitters, supervisors, project managers, and quality control personnel to complete projects on schedule.

Ability to pass a 6G monster combo weld test.

Proficient in TIG, Stick, MIG, and Flux-Core welding processes.

Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping.
