We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in creating clean, safe, and beautiful spaces. In this role, you’ll work across our community maintaining floors, supporting events, and helping ensure our environment always looks its best. What You’ll Do
- Maintain hard floor and carpeted surfaces through buffing, burnishing, stripping, waxing, and deep cleaning
- Operate and maintain floor care and carpet cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare work areas and follow proper floor care procedures and safety standards
- Complete carpet extraction and specialty cleaning projects throughout the community
- Support room and event set-ups using diagrams for tables and chairs
- Remove and transport trash and maintain clean common areas
- Clean and maintain designated areas including dining spaces, lobby restrooms, therapy spaces, and offices
- Inspect equipment and report concerns to maintain a safe work environment
- Support additional housekeeping and community projects as assigned

Nice to Have Skills
- Previous floor care, housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial experience
- Experience operating floor buffers, burnishers, carpet extractors, and commercial cleaning equipment
- Experience in hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or commercial environments
- Knowledge of floor restoration and preventative maintenance practices
- Experience with event and room set-ups
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, plus related experience and/or specialized training in equipment operation, floor care, or facility services. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
