We are seeking an experienced, caring, and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our 2-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to lead a team in creating a fun and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support the developmental needs of 2-year-old children
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain open communication with families, providing regular updates on child progress and classroom activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Observe and assess children’s development and document progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space
Qualifications
- Employees must be at least eighteen years of age.
- Experience teaching in preschool settings is highly encouraged
- Employees who will be working with the children must have a high school diploma or an equivalency certificate (GED).
- Employees must be able to perform all functions of their specific job as outlined in their specific job descriptions.
- Staff shall be emotionally and physically able to perform assigned duties (e.g., lifting a 40-pound child, comforting or redirecting while maintaining one’s own emotions).
