Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Estimator who can perform high-quality repairs from start to finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to producing clean, accurate work that meets OEM standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and create detailed, accurate repair estimates using industry software (CCC ONE, Audatex, or Mitchell).
- Negotiate repair costs and supplemental claims with insurance adjusters to ensure profitable and proper repair procedures.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, providing regular updates on vehicle status and explaining technical repair processes.
- Coordinate with Body Technicians to ensure the scope of work is understood and production timelines are met.
- Review final invoices and quality-control completed repairs against the original estimate before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all photos, communications, and authorizations required by DRP (Direct Repair Program) guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a Collision Estimator or Service Advisor.
- Proficiency in estimating software (CCC ONE preferred) and a strong understanding of parts procurement.
- Knowledge of I-CAR repair standards and insurance industry protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Valid Driver’s License and a professional demeanor.
