Overview
Premier Surfaces is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our fabrication team.
This position supports the day-to-day operations of our countertop fabrication shop by assisting with material handling, shop organization, equipment maintenance, and production support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Assist fabrication team members with daily production tasks
- Load, unload, and move stone slabs and fabricated pieces safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and shop equipment after appropriate training
- Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials
- Clean and maintain tools, machinery, and workstations
- Help prepare materials for fabrication and installation
- Assist with inventory organization and tracking
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Support fabrication and installation teams as needed
Skills/Qualifications

- Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working around machinery and heavy materials
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required
- Construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company
