Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing a wide range of mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our environment. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime.
- Perform detailed diagnostics on complex mechanical systems using schematics and technical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, parts used, and system updates for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and appliances.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with appliance repair, installation, and servicing of mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and air flow management.
- Familiarity with maintenance operations including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients about repairs or system issues.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all transportation safety regulations.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
