Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, hotels, or commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and buffing to preserve flooring quality
- Manage laundry duties including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as stocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning products
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking (for hospitality settings), laundry management, janitorial experience, or hotel housekeeping management experience
