Position Summary
Shorecliffs Golf Club is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Greenkeeper I to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This is an entry-level position offering an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the golf course industry. Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent and Foreman, the Greenkeeper I performs a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the golf course is maintained to the highest standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other turf areas.
- Rake and maintain bunkers.
- Set tee markers and hole locations.
- Operate string trimmers, blowers, backpack sprayers, and other hand-held equipment.
- Repair ball marks and divots.
- Assist with irrigation repairs and hand watering as directed.
- Perform landscape maintenance, including pruning, weeding, and planting.
- Remove debris and maintain clean work areas.
- Assist with course setup for tournaments and special events.
- Safely operate golf course maintenance equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Foreman.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, or golf course experience is a plus, but not required.
- Valid California driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

- Willingness to learn proper equipment operation and turf management practices.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Early morning start times.
- Weekend and holiday work required on a rotating schedule.
- Overtime may be available during tournaments and seasonal projects.
