Overview
We are looking for a dependable Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position combines warehouse responsibilities with furniture delivery, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and delivered safely. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks to deliver furniture to homes and businesses.
- Load, unload, and secure furniture using proper lifting techniques.
- Assist customers with furniture placement and basic assembly as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules.
- Stage and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Break down cardboard, packaging materials, and other recyclable materials, ensuring proper disposal and maintaining a clean warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Follow all company safety procedures and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or logistics experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; box truck experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
Additional Information
- Work schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
- 20-32 hour work weeks with the potential to work more.
- $22/hour.
- This is a 1099 role.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
