As a Shipping Department Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring shipping documentation and certifications are accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities:
Create packing slips, Certificates of Conformance (C of C), and certification maps
Verify required certifications
Link certifications to the appropriate lot when required
Scan and link sales order packages
Answer incoming telephone calls and relay messages as needed
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the shipping process
Follow all company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
Observe company processes and make recommendations for improvement
Assist with or provide instruction to other personnel as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain reliable attendance — attendance is an essential function of this position
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Good math skills
Computer literate and comfortable working with computer systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
