Meerkat Pest Control is currently hiring licensed nuisance wildlife technicians, carpenters, supervisors and project managers to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Trapping and/or evicting nuisance wildlife from residential and commercial structures
- Bending coil stock on a brake and installing our Metal-X Pest Proofing System
- Lower level seal up: Preparing foundations and sealing entry points
- Installing our Ridge and Trench Guard System
- Replacing fascia, soffit, ridge vents, gable vents as needed
- Repairing entry points, excluding nuisance wildlife from re-entering structures
SKILLS NEEDED:
Have a great attitude and have great customer service skills
Must be able to keep a clean and safe job site
Must be able to work with heights approximately 15-40 feet and be comfortable working on a roof.
Must be able to set-up an OSHA approved safe work environment on the roof
Must be able to bend aluminum coil with a brake, training provided
Must have good knowledge of basic carpentry and basic light masonry skills

As a Nuisance Wildlife Technician - Carpenter, you will be a vital team member responsible for removing nuisance wildlife and carpentry related tasks. Your core skill in carpentry will be utilized to address wildlife nuisances effectively. Additionally, your premium skill in customer service will come into play when interacting with customers and potentially upselling services. Proficiency in hand tools, driving, and power tools will be essential for executing tasks efficiently. Boom lift experience is a plus but not necessary and can be trained. Overall customer service will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving wildlife-related issues promptly.
