Duties
- Manage a caseload of child support cases, ensuring timely processing of applications, modifications, and enforcement actions.
- Conduct interviews with parents, guardians, and caregivers to gather relevant information and assess family needs.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage cooperation and resolve conflicts between parties.
- Apply crisis intervention strategies when working with families experiencing urgent or sensitive situations.
- Collaborate with child protective services, behavioral health providers, and other community resources to support child welfare.
- Educate families on mandated reporting laws, child development, and available support services.
- Maintain accurate case documentation, records of interactions, and compliance reports in accordance with legal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, family law or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities in a social services setting.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare policies, childhood development principles, and family law regulations.
- Skilled in conflict management, crisis management, and behavioral health interventions.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and procedures related to child protective services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate change through motivational interviewing techniques.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality.

Pay: $20.43 - $22.42 per hour
