Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately build and troubleshoot assemblies.
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) components on printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring proper placement and soldering according to IPC 610 standards.
- Build electrical panels by wiring circuits, installing components, and verifying connections using multimeters such as ohmmeters.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specified tolerances during assembly.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies by diagnosing issues with engineering troubleshooting techniques and resolving them efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Proven experience with PCB assembly, soldering, electrical wiring, and reading schematics or electrical blueprints.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment.
- Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), electrical panel building, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately for assembly and troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience working with electro-mechanical components within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Electrical experience including wiring, schematic reading, and troubleshooting is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $24.00 - $24.35 per hour
