Title: Direct Support Professionals (DSP), CNA Full-Time and Part-Time
Job Description:
Sunbridge is seeking caring and dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives within their homes and communities.
Immediate Current Open Cases Include: Ashford, AL
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living skills, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Support community involvement, appointments, and recreational activities
- Follow individualized service plans and behavior support plans
- Encourage independence and life skill development
- Document daily activities and progress notes
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals served
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10th grade education required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required
- TB skin test required
- Ability to pass background check
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
- Experience with IDD population preferred but not required
