Destination Wellness Group LLC is a new faith-based wellness organization focused on providing comprehensive support through mental health services, career development, and financial wellness resources.
Our mission is to create a supportive environment where individuals can receive quality care while helping professionals grow, develop, and make an impact in their communities.
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to help establish and lead our mental health services department as we build a growing group practice.
Position Overview
The Clinical Director will provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and guidance as Destination Wellness Group LLC develops its counseling division.
This role is ideal for a licensed mental health professional who is passionate about leadership, mentoring developing clinicians, and helping build a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and qualified emerging clinicians who demonstrate strong clinical skills, leadership potential, and a commitment to professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support for the counseling department
- Assist in developing clinical policies and procedures
- Mentor and support new graduate clinicians and early-career professionals
- Provide guidance and consultation to counseling staff
- Support ethical and quality standards of client care
- Assist with onboarding and training future clinicians
- Help develop a positive team culture
- Collaborate with ownership on practice growth and expansion
- Support compliance with documentation and insurance requirements
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Active Connecticut clinical credential/license, such as:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
- Ability to meet insurance credentialing requirements
- Knowledge of clinical documentation and compliance standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing future clinicians
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private practice or group practice settings
- Experience working with insurance-based mental health services
- Experience supervising or mentoring clinicians
- Interest in helping build a growing wellness organization
- Strong community relationships and referral-building skills
