Chef
Tidewater Restaurant group is a small, fast-casual restaurant group with a focus on fresh ingredients and local produce. We are looking for an Executive Chef to lead our team and set the table for a great dining experience.
The Chef will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee all food and beverage production in the kitchen, including menu development, planning, preparation and cooking.
- Maintain a menu that meets company standards for variety, freshness, and quality.
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner following the recipes, steps and procedures outlined in the recipe books.
- Ensure that all dishes are presented properly to customers and that customers are satisfied with their dining experiences.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and ready for use according to company standards.
- Run food and labor cost at or below goals set by upper management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary procedures, methods, and equipment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
