Dermatology Medical Assistant

This is a PART-TIME or FULL-TIME position in a gorgeous state-of-the-art-office. We are seeking an energetic team-oriented individual to work directly with the providers to provide excellent care to our patients. The responsibilities include:
· Rooming patients- documenting medical histories and chief complaints into the EMR
· Directly assisting the provider with all aspects of dermatology care including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, suture removals, general office visits, laser therapies, injections, and wound care
· Accurately and completely scribing all notes during the visit for provider in EMR
· Initially organizing nurses station, exam rooms, lab; working with practice leadership in setting processes and protocols for clinical flow
· Providing educational assistance, pharmacy needs and communications for test and lab inquires
· Sterilizing instruments, maintain an organized workspace
· Scheduling patients as needed for follow up appointments

This dermatology medical receptionist position will be cross trained to assist with some medical assistant duties.
Required Experience
· We welcome GAP-YEAR STUDENTS applying for medical school or PA program (will be eligible for a letter of recommendation after working at least for 9 months at the practice)
· Seeking an ambitious person, who is self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in their career,
· Must have exceptional customer service and ability to multi-task
