American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in advanced structural, peripheral, and EP procedures.

Progressive cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab performing cardiac, peripheral, vascular (diagnostic and interventional), EP, and IR procedures
-
Average daily census of 6 patients
-
Day shift, 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
-
Weekend coverage required every other weekend
-
Call required up to 3 times per week, including weekday and weekend call rotation
-
Must reside and be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
-
Uses Siemens imaging equipment (floor mount, ceiling mount coming soon) and Cannon labs
-
Advanced equipment includes Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, and Medrad/Acist injectors
-
EMR is Epic with Cupid documentation
-
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers not considered

Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) certifications required
-
LSRTBE state license required if applicable

CCI RCIS certification preferred

Proficiency in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
-
Skilled with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
-
Experienced in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
-
Capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures

Epic EMR experience required

Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

Prior travel experience required

Work independently and confidently across all cardiac cath lab procedures

Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset expected

Willingness to share expertise and support colleagues

Highly efficient Code STEMI team with system-best D2B times

Orientation held 5 days a week
-
Facility does not accept local candidates and requires candidates to live more than 65 miles from the site

Staff may be assigned to an emergency team requiring extended stay at the facility during emergency events
-
Candidates previously employed as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the facility for one full year before returning as a traveler
