Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our logistics team! As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to transport freight efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards, including FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations.
Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, following designated routes and schedules
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan and execute efficient delivery routes across local, regional, or OTR routes
- Load and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques and proper equipment; ensure cargo is secured according to logistics cargo handling standards
- Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during truck loading/unloading, cargo handling, and transportation operations
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with familiarity in freight transportation
- Hands-on experience operating commercial trucks with manual transmission and tractor-trailer configurations
- Knowledge of route driving, logistics cargo handling, and truck loading/unloading procedures
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operation and automobile transportation is a plus
- Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), preferably with endorsements for hazmat or tanker loads
- Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient deliveries

Pay: $25.12 - $30.26 per hour
