If you thrive on solving complex problems and maintaining high standards of operational performance, this role is perfect for you!ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks with precision and attention to detail.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.Maintain HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.Lead small teams or coordinate maintenance activities during shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks.Document all maintenance activities thoroughly in logs, reports, and work orders for accountability and future reference.Assist with construction and renovation projects, applying your construction and electrical knowledge to complete facility improvements.ExperienceMust have strong carpentry, plumbing and electrical knowledge. Will be required to do framing, drywall hanging and finish work and plumbing work.Must be able to work and accomplish tasks independently and on time.Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or air conditioning.Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used for troubleshooting complex systems.Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.Knowledge of construction processes and experience working on building infrastructure projects is required
Responsibilities.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Perform framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry with attention to detail.
- Operate woodworking machines safely to fabricate custom components such as moldings, fixtures, and cabinetry.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration tasks as needed.
- Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during construction site activities.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work integration, plumbing tasks, and fixture installation.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for woodworking; familiarity with wood construction materials.
- Strong background in residential carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding.
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of woodworking machines.
- Ability to read schematics and schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems; experience with CNC fabrication is a plus.
- Skilled in construction site safety procedures including power tool safety practices.
- Experience in restoration industry work such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is advantageous.
- Capable of working on multiple projects involving metal stud framing, roofing, masonry, or remodeling while maintaining quality standards.
