Restaurant amp; Event Server
Located on beautiful Lake Martin, our premier country club offers exceptional hospitality, a newly renovated golf course, and an unforgettable experience for members and guests. We are seeking friendly, service-driven Dining Room Servers to join our team. This is a multi-area role, meaning team members may be scheduled in our dining outlets, member events, banquets, and special functions as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for members and guests.
- Deliver attentive, professional service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and club events.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and beverage selections to answer questions and make recommendations.
- Accommodate member preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Clear, reset, and maintain dining tables and service areas to club standards.
- Assist with banquet and event service as needed.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred; club, resort, or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and uphold club service standards.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and other seasonal elements.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
