Our group is actively seeking experienced certified medical assistants to join our exceptional patient-focused care team. Our certified medical assistants work closely with our physicians to create a cohesive medical team to help our patients achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle. Monday thru Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Duties include:
- prep & scrub charts for upcoming patient appointments
- prepare exam room for examinations
- room patients
- enter data into the electronic health record
- maintain patient records by following clinic standards
- schedule appointments
- process prior authorizations
- order diagnostic testing
- create orders under the direction of the physician
- refill medications per protocol
- administer vaccines
- assist in minor in-office procedures
- perform EKGs, and ear lavages
- respond to patient calls
- screen for same-day appointment requests
- relay test results per the physician's direction
- comply with all policy and guidelines, and patient safety
- stock and maintain supplies in the exam rooms
- order supplies as needed
- other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by the physician or office manager

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- EHR systems: 2 years (Preferred)
- Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
