Overview:
We are a 3rd Generation family owned and operated trucking company with over 29 years of experience and knowledge seeking reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to join our company. As a Company Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting bulk commodities to various Co-op's, Feed Mills, Asphalt Plants, and Quarry's. This is a great opportunity for individuals with Hopper bottom experience who are looking for a stable and competitive paying job.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Semi-Truck and Hopper bottom Trailer
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues
- Accurately upload information of load and unload ticket into App on your phone while maintaining records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean MVR
- Must be at least 23 years of age with 3 years of verifiable experience as a class A CDL driver.
- Must pass Drug and Alcohol test
- Ability to operate a smart phone efficiently (Texting, Scanning Documents, Apps)
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks like sweeping/ washing out trailer after every load
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to stay in the truck M-F
Skills:
- Hopper Bottom Trailer Experience (Preferred not Required)
