Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Remodeling Carpenter / Installer to join our dynamic team serving the Reading/Temple area. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional passionate about residential remodeling, carpentry, and restoration projects. Duties
- Perform framing, door hanging, siding installation, and metal stud framing with attention to detail
- Install trim, flooring, fixtures, stucco, caulking, and water damage restoration components efficiently and safely
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment to complete tasks effectively
- Conduct plastering, rebar installation, mold remediation, and water damage restoration as required by project specifications
- Follow power tool safety protocols while handling saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work site; manage materials such as wood construction materials and siding efficiently
- Assist with construction estimating tasks when needed; support the team in troubleshooting technical issues on-site
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices throughout each phase of the project
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or remodeling projects with a strong portfolio of completed work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment
- Familiarity with various construction materials including wood construction materials, siding materials, plastering compounds, stucco finishes, etc.
- Experience with framing (including metal studs), door hanging, fixture installation, flooring installation, and trim carpentry
- Background in restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or water damage repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to power tools usage and construction site protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards during demanding tasks
