Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Construction Manager to lead and oversee projects from planning and pre-construction through completion. This position ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to established quality standards. The Construction Manager coordinates employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, schedules, and project requirements while maintaining clear communication with leadership, clients, and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to plan.
- Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure work is completed correctly.
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
- Identify potential issues, delays, or cost concerns and develop solutions quickly.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct or participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, change orders, invoices, and project records.
- Ensure job sites remain organized, professional, and safe.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address concerns.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, equipment, and job-site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Proficiency with computers and construction/project management software.
- Ability to review budgets, expenses, invoices, and project costs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Occasional weekends
Pay: $62,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
