Duties:
- Under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various speech and language disorders.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve communication skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and the principles of normal and abnormal communication development.
- Experience working with patients in acute care settings and/or pediatrics is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $70,500.00 - $74,500.00 per year
