We are seeking a full-time Scheduling Supervisor for Phones, in Mesa Arizona. The hours are Mon-Fri, daytime.

Position summary: Provides the supervision of the Scheduling Team functions, customer service and phones . This includes patient services, intake, scheduling, chart maintenance including electronic medical records and other various roles in achieving Valley Sleep Center's mission of providing excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience with Customer Service and Phone Scheduling
- Knowledge of HIPAA, insurance eligibility and general medical knowledge.
- Understanding of medical concepts and terminology, with emphasis on sleep related disorder to effectively communicate with Doctors and Patients.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze, recommend and resolve issues that could prevent achievement of goals.
- Understand and apply Valley Sleep Center policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Establish priorities and multi-task in an effective manner in order to meet intense deadlines.
- Demonstrate high energy, “can-do” leadership approach, and the ability to orient and supervise new Team Members.
- Self- motivated and accountable with an ability to take initiative.
- Effectively communicates with Patients, Doctors, Team Members, Director of Patient Services, President and medical and business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Function effectively as a team player; know when to put personal needs or outcomes aside to increase team collaboration and productive results.
- Recognize issues that should involve the Director of Patient Services or President.
- Work and contribute successfully within a diverse work and business environment.

- Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- 1-2 years of experience in medical office administration, with increasing responsibility
- Knowledge of sleep physiology and sleep disorders, preferable.
