Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead Arlington Ramuntos and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ramuntos offers Brick oven pizza and typical bar food menu. As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and culinary techniques to uphold health standards.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth service during busy hours in quick service or casual dining environments.
- Implement food production procedures aligned with restaurant standards while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
- Lead staff hiring, training & development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated team committed to excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management strategies.
- Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes exceptional customer service and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in kitchen management within the food industry, including supervising teams in quick service, casual dining, or fine dining settings.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures.
- Previous experience managing staff through interviewing, training & development, and performance evaluations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure environments.
- Knowledge of restaurant management operations including shift management, budgeting, and customer service excellence.
- Hospitality management experience preferred; hotel or banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production and kitchen cleanliness standards.
