We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic private dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist during various procedures and managing patient interactions.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring an aseptic technique is followed at all times.
- Take medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Document patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately in compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required.
- Manage appointment schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow within the practice.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
- Experience with general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with dental coding for accurate documentation.
