Join our nonprofit team this back-to-school season to support local teachers as they shop for classroom supplies. This short-term, hands-on role involves physical work and is perfect for someone dependable and community-minded.
Schedule (Must be available ALL dates and hours listed):
- July 1 - August 1
- - Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm (flexibility needed)
- Notice: This is a full-commitment seasonal position. In order to receive payment, you must be available and present for all scheduled days and full working hours throughout the entire 4-week period. Partial availability — including missing days, arriving late, or leaving early — will disqualify you from receiving payment for the position. Payday will be Saturday, August 1 4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers during shopping events
- Carry supplies to teachers’ vehicles
- Set up and break down shopping areas each day
- Restock, organize, and move inventory
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude
- Work both indoors and outdoors in summer weather conditions
Requirements:
- Must be available for all listed days and hours – no exceptions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat
- Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Friendly and professional with staff and teachers
