Unlike most of our competition, we do not act merely as a broker, sales representative, or project manager Instead, we fully control the process and work as a value-added partner every step of the way from early stage design, mid cycle value engineering, fabrication, and onsite field management Our 65,000 square foot facility contains a dedicated team and equipment to produce first class products with shorter lead times.
Architect / Architectural Drafter will work in conjunction with Engineering manager, project managers and estimators to create accurate designs, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings using both AutoCAD and AlphaCam.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Produce detailed design and construction drawings and documents
· Work closely with team to provide backup support tasks on projects with tight schedules
· Utilize AutoCad / Revit software to create full-scale and detailed designs of buildings and develop documentation from concept drawings
· Generate revisions from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings, and project document sets.
· Interpret, understand, and coordinate with other disciplines' drawings.
· Work with field crews to interpret field measurements and produce accurate material layouts
· Responsible for maintaining positive client relationships throughout the project.
· Responsible for communication of information with other team members, disciplines, vendors, and contractors
· Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager.
· Manage multiple projects and tasks to meet the schedules and budgets.
· Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients
· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
· Proficient knowledge of the following:
o Design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production
o Construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer appropriateness
o Ability to graphically communicate design concepts as required by a variety of projects.
o MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
o Advanced skills in AutoCAD / Revit software to create full-scale detailed designs
o Understand the capabilities of 3D rendering software
o Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite
· Satisfactory completion of background screening
· Associate degree in related field or comparable work experience
· Professional experience of 3-5+ years preferred
