Access Michigan is a technical sales organization provides critical support regarding heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and services that support the digital world.
About the Role
You will work with the manufacturers we represent, mechanical contractors, end users’ and our internal team to find, and sell the right part(s) for each application. You must be eager to learn our product offerings and parts configurations for the multiple manufacturers we represent. You must enjoy working with people and be good at building long term relationships.
Core Responsibilities
- Interact with customers in person, through email and over the phone
- Work directly with manufacturers when help is needed selecting appropriate parts
- Quote and process parts orders for multiple manufacturer product lines.
- Analyze inventory & sales data to determine stocking requirements.
- Submit parts orders to manufacturers for local warehouse stocking
- Receive inventory shipments, add into inventory system, and put away on shelf
- Support inventory management process
- Organize warehouse for the storage of small air conditioning systems
- Load and unload vehicles via forklift for shipments of parts and small AC systems
- Package and ship parts via UPS and FedEx
- Submit warranty claims and oversee returns
- General upkeep and organization of the warehouse
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in administrative support, inventory management, or customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Collaboration in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exceed customers’ expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong alignment with Access Michigan Core Values
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
