The Technical Support Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business owners and technical/non-technical users. The Technical Support Engineer works as a team member on the service delivery team and is a liaison between sales and service.
Entec Systems, an experienced and established IT Managed Services company with locations in Richmond, VA, Tampa, FL, and Charlotte, NC is currently hiring in our Richmond, VA Office. Entec is looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills with experience in IT support. The candidate must be a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills. The candidate must be capable of managing client needs and expectations both individually and as part of a team. The candidate must be located in the metro-Richmond area.
The candidate will be asked to provide onsite and remote support for clients and remediate issues defined in Entec service agreements.
5+ Years of IT Network/ Server support experience required
Must have an excellent working knowledge of:
· Understanding of standard backup/disaster recovery practices
· Windows Server (2016-2022) administration including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, DHCP, DNS, etc.
· Workstation operating systems and productivity applications
· Mac operating systems management
· Network Security – Router/Firewall experience
· Cloud Environment management
· Virtualization technologies
· Enterprise email systems
· Office 365 deployment and security

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
