Welder
Key Responsibilities
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
· Perform welding and metal fabrication using various techniques
· Cut, shape, and join metal components using appropriate tools and equipment
· Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with project specifications
· Operate welding and cutting tools safely and maintain equipment in good working condition
· Work closely with construction teams to ensure welded structures meet engineering and safety standards
· Conduct quality control checks and make necessary adjustments to welding procedures
· Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
· Assist in other construction-related tasks as needed
· Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions to foster a productive and collaborative work environment
· Willingness to travel to construction sites
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Technical training or welding certification preferred, not required
· Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a construction or industrial setting
· Proficiency in various welding techniques
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
· Strong knowledge of metal properties and welding materials
· Familiarity with welding codes and safety regulations
· Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions
· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed
· OSHA 10 is required
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required
Salary/Benefits:
