Job Overview
Three Belles Marina Cafe is looking for a dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly during service.
Please note: this is a manual dishwashing position. We do not have a commercial dishwashing machine, so all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are washed by hand.
The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, able to stay organized during busy shifts, and willing to support the kitchen and restaurant team wherever needed.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment by hand
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout the shift
- Keep up with dishes during busy service periods
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Help maintain a clean kitchen workspace
- Take out trash and recycling as needed
- Sweep, mop, and assist with general kitchen cleaning
- Support kitchen staff by keeping clean dishes, pans, and utensils available
- Help with bussing or clearing dishes when needed
- Follow all safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable washing dishes manually by hand
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, bend, carry, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
Schedule
- Day, evening, and weekend availability preferred
- Flexible scheduling may be available
