Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field/Customer Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver, providing essential on-site support to ensure our equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in hardware, networking, and mechanical systems will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
- Verify tickets daily for potential troubleshooting customers
- Customer service on customer premises/location.
- Quality control of network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department in Outside Plant (OSP).
· Work on installing and repairing Ethernet cables
· Wi-Fi configuring and installation.
- Review and analysis of new and existing fiber optic outside plant infrastructure.
- Work on LAN cables (RJ45) and WIFI programming (AP).
· Installation and troubleshoot a battery UPS solution.
- Attending emergencies service outages of our fiber plant at non regular work hours.
Requirements:
- Enjoy talking to customers and helping them find solutions to their needs.
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken. Good presentation skills for training.
- Team player who can engage with other functions to deliver a better customer experience and drive collaboration.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, fluent speaker.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Above average customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Friendly and energetic attitude
Pay: $15.50 per hour
