Apple Jax Toys is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team. We specialize in vintage and modern toys, games, puzzles, and gifts, creating a fun and memorable shopping experience for customers of all ages. We're looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, learning about our products, and helping customers find the perfect toy or gift. If you appreciate a welcoming, community-oriented retail environment and take pride in providing outstanding service, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Help customers discover the perfect toy, game, puzzle, or gift for any occasion.
- Build product knowledge to confidently recommend items and share information about new arrivals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
- Restock merchandise and help maintain accurate inventory, including receiving and organizing new shipments.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
- Take initiative by noticing what needs to be done and completing tasks without being asked.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Enthusiasm for toys, games, puzzles, and learning about new products.
