Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home care and clinical environments. The LVN will be responsible for implementing patient care plans, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform specimen collection processing and maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Assist in case management by coordinating patient care and resources.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in ophthalmology and emergency medicine settings.
- Deliver compassionate care tailored to the needs of toddlers and other age groups.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and healthcare standards.
- Experience in home care or case management is preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is a plus.
- Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time 7AM-3PM
