Senior Construction Estimator – Commercial Construction | Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Projects

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a General Contractor (GC) or Construction Management (CM) firm, preparing complete estimates for Commercial, Institutional, Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, and High-End Residential projects.
You will be responsible for cost estimating, quantity takeoffs, bid management, subcontractor analysis, budget development, and reviewing Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical (MEP), and Electrical drawings to deliver accurate and competitive project estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
- Review Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical (MEP), and Electrical plans.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Develop project budgets and cost analyses.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Clients.
- Support preconstruction, bid management, and value engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Construction Estimating experience.
- Experience with a General Contractor (GC) or Construction Management (CM) firm.
- Experience estimating Commercial, Institutional, Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, or High-End Residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural, Mechanical (HVAC/Plumbing), and Electrical scopes.
- Proficiency in Quantity Takeoffs, Cost Estimating, Bid Analysis, Budgeting, and Value Engineering.
- Experience with Sage, Bluebeam, Pipeline, Procore, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or similar estimating software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Pay: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
