DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Plan and implement the physical education and health curriculum for Grades 4-5*Evaluate individual students using department-developed common assessment tools, maintain up-to-date records of student progress*Collaborate with members of the PreK-12 Physical Education & Health department to review, develop, and execute a rigorous district curriculum aligned to state standards, including development and facilitation of MARC and Human Growth and Development Units.*Create a positive, inviting, and safe learning environment while modeling enthusiasm for learning *Develop, model, and practice class procedures and routines*Modify instructional practices to meet individual student needs*Communicate high expectations to all learners, as well as realistic and consistent expectations for student behavior and applies appropriate consequences*Other duties assigned by principal
