Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated General Laborers to join our team for concrete flat work projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the construction of durable, high-quality concrete surfaces, including sidewalks, driveways, patios, and other flatwork applications. Your hands-on involvement will ensure that each project meets safety standards, specifications, and quality expectations. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper layout according to blueprints and schematics.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, mixing, pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing.
- Support the pouring and spreading of concrete using mixers, pumps, and other equipment to achieve level surfaces as per project plans.
- Help with the installation of formwork and framing for concrete structures, ensuring alignment with blueprint specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks involving materials like rebar, form panels, or concrete bags while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and organizing tools and materials regularly on-site.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a general labor capacity within the construction industry.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, and cutting equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for proper project execution.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans is a plus.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, finishing techniques (such as troweling), and concrete pouring procedures.
- Experience with heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and working at heights is beneficial.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards or equivalent safety regulations.
- Good physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interpret technical instructions clearly.

Pay: $26.55 - $31.97 per hour
