We are looking for experienced Class A truck drivers to serve our regional supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- This job is regional. Our drivers are back home every other day.* It does require taking your 10 hour break in the sleeper bunk of our trucks. On average, you will take your 10 hour break in your truck at least twice a week.*
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from military commissaries or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform pre-trip and post trip inspections.
- Meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and submit signed bills of lading and retain fuel receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic logging equipment
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Valid class A truck driving license

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
