Position Overview
The Regional Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating clinical education programs across multiple air medical bases. This position supports clinical excellence by ensuring personnel maintain competency, meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, and receive high-quality continuing education consistent with CAMTS, NAAMTA, state EMS regulations, and organizational standards.
The Regional Clinical Educator serves as a subject matter expert and educational resource for flight crew members, communications specialists, customers, and operational leadership while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Education
- Develop and deliver initial, recurrent, and remedial education programs.
- Coordinate annual competency assessments and skills validations.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs.
- Develop continuing education opportunities for clinical personnel.
- Maintain educational records and documentation.
- Develop and deliver courses to customers
Accreditation and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with CAMTS, NAAMTA, state, and organizational educational requirements.
- Assist with accreditation preparation and site visits.
- Monitor certification, licensure, and continuing education requirements.
- Maintain training documentation for regulatory review.
Quality Improvement
- Participate in CQI and patient care review processes.
- Identify educational opportunities from clinical trends and event reviews.
- Develop targeted remediation and improvement programs.
- Monitor educational effectiveness through measurable outcomes.
Clinical Support
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff and preceptors.
- Assist with simulation training and specialty education programs.
- Support implementation of new clinical protocols and equipment.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and Clinical Leadership on educational initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Current unrestricted RN or Paramedic license.
- CFRN, CCRN, or FP-C
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of critical care transport, air medical, emergency medicine, or critical care experience.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical education, preceptor, instructor, or training experience.
- Current instructor certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and PHTLS.
- Knowledge of CAMTS accreditation standards.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned region.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Education, Nursing, EMS, or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience supporting multiple locations.
- Experience with accreditation preparation and site visits.
- Experience with simulation-based education.
- Experience with LMS education platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Experience:
