American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position at an academic medical center, requiring at least 1 year of med/surg experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Acute, non-telemetry Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting

Academic medical center environment

Patient ratio of 1:5

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

13-week contract

Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — license must have no hits or disciplinary actions

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Academic medical center experience preferred

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of profile submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
