Summary
As a Preschool Teacher at Kiddie Academy, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children. This position is essential in implementing our Life Essentials curriculum and creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes the growth and development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the Life Essentials curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. (or qualifying units)
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
