Shop Mechanic
M&H Concrete Contractors is hiring an experienced Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our trucks, construction equipment, tools, and attachments.
We need a well-rounded mechanic who is comfortable working on a variety of equipment, including:
- Skid loaders and attachments
- Hydraulic breakers
- Trucks and trailers
- Compactors
- Concrete saws
- Pumps, generators, and small-engine equipment
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and gasoline equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and replace worn or damaged parts
- Keep repair records and communicate equipment status
- Maintain a clean and safe shop
- Assist with field repairs when needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of mechanic or equipment repair experience preferred
- Experience with skid loaders and construction equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Heavy diesel, welding, and fabrication experience are a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout shifts of up to 10 hours.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
