SVS Group is currently looking to hire 2 Experienced Sit-down Forklift Drivers for one of our best Manufacturing Clients here on the Phoenix/Tempe border. You will have typical Sit-down Forklift/Order Pulling job duties listed below.
Overview
We are seeking Sit-down Forklift dirvers to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for typical warehouse duties, some shipping, and a lot of sit-down forklift driving. There will be a lot of heavy lifting as you will not be on the forklift the entire time. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within our distribution center and requires Sit-down Forklift, heavy lifting, a keen attention to detail, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload products from trucks and pallets, ensuring safe handling practices using a Sit-down forklift
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks in compliance with OSHA regulations
- You will wrap the pallets with pallet straps
- You will pull orders off of the Forklift as well. Not all of your work will be on the Forklift
- Perform materials handling tasks including sorting, packing, and labeling items for shipping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize order picking processes
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing physical tasks
Requirements:
- You must have at least 2+ years of Sit-down Forklift Experience
- Proficient in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- You must want to work 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 6:30am - 4pm plus overtime as needed. No weekends.
