Position Overview
The Assistant General Manager serves as the operational leader of the studio and is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This individual acts as the primary point of contact for clients and staff, helps drive sales and retention efforts, manages scheduling and administrative functions, and supports the overall success of the studio.
This is a leadership position that requires initiative, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make decisions independently.
Client Experience & Sales
- Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients
- Follow up with leads and inactive prospects
- Manage client renewals and membership re-ups
- Increase client training frequency when appropriate
- Process payments and assist with billing questions
- Review failed payments and past-due accounts
- Welcome and onboard new clients
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure an exceptional experience
Leadership & Team Support
- Coordinate trainer schedules and schedule changes
- Manage shift coverage
- Respond to client calls, texts, emails, and inquiries
- Support local networking, referral-building, and community outreach efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Management or leadership experience
- Experience with scheduling software or CRM systems
- Experience in the fitness, health, wellness, or service industries
- Personal training or fitness industry knowledge
- CPT
- CPR/AED

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
