Training & OnboardingDay 1 - 5
You will shadow with a Lead in a Lime vehicle and follow a route to collect Lime e-bikes around campus. This will be a time to assess capabilities and pacing.
Week 2
You may be dispatched as a driver for the shift.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Campus Operations Specialist for a contract position to support the daily operations of Lime’s on-campus deployments. In this role, you will be instrumental in deploying, retrieving, and rebalancing a fleet of shared electric vehicles. This is a dynamic role where you will undertake various responsibilities to support on-campus operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Rebalancing fleet throughout Mayo Clinic Campus (shuttling e-bikes back and forth across a hospital campus)
- Tidying local areas and e-bike parking zones
- Driving a Lime e-van to and from designated zones
- Working outdoors in varying conditions and temperatures
- Maintaining heat-safety awareness and preventing heat-related illnesses
- Safely operating a van for several hours a day to assist with deployment, rebalancing, and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within campus boundaries
- Retrieving vehicles parked outside campus bounds or in non-compliant parking areas and returning them to permitted campus locations
- Following agreed-upon Lime service level agreements and ensuring vehicle supply matches community needs for morning, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Conducting on-foot patrols to monitor designated zones, ensuring vehicles are parked correctly and areas remain tidy in accordance with campus and Lime standards
- Maintaining communication with peers, shift leads, and managers
- Tidying fallen vehicles, and generally keeping parking areas clear and clean
- Preparing vehicles on campus for severe weather events per policies developed with campus administrators
- Identifying vehicles with battery, safety, or other issues and reporting them to the Campus Operations Lead, mechanics, or Customer Success Manager in a timely fashion
- Interacting with local campus members to better understand how and when to move vehicle supply to the appropriate locations at the appropriate times
- Detecting and reporting uncommon situations related to on-the-ground service and product
- Occasionally assisting customers in the field by providing support related to Lime vehicles
- Following established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are operating the safest vehicles possible
- Participating in Lime events, including providing support with valet services, staging, and conducting safety reviews while ensuring vehicle cleanliness
- Completing additional job-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Experience in a similar position with knowledge of the local geography
- Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis
- Knowledge of cell phone applications (iOS experience preferred)
- Ability to work various shifts AM & PM available
- Experience safely operating a hydraulic ramp or push cart
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks
- Safety-oriented mindset capable of conducting visual quality checks and prioritizing safety issue reporting
Campus PoliciesSmoking Policy
This is a no-smoking campus. Smoking anywhere on campus grounds will be cause for immediate dismissal.
Attendance Policy
- Three consecutive shifts missed will require documentation (doctor’s note, jury duty, etc.) before approval to return to work
- Associates are allowed to clock in up to 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after a shift start time. Any time after these 5 minutes is considered late
- Verbal coaching will be administered on first occurrences. If no improvement occurs within 30 days, a first written warning will be issued. If no improvement occurs within another 30 days, a final warning will be issued. If no improvement occurs following a final warning, the assignment will be ended
- Time off requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance
Safety & Monitoring Disclosure
To ensure the safety of our drivers, dual-facing AI dash cams that record both the road and the interior cab have been installed in Lime vehicles. As a requirement of this position, a waiver acknowledging the presence of the dash cam system in Lime vehicles must be signed.
General Requirements – Commercial Moving
When working as a Commercial Mover/Contractor through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:
- Work in a small or large team to relocate miscellaneous items
- Work on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
- Safely lift and move heavy boxes or other heavy items up to 75 pounds
- Reach, crouch, bend over, and perform other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
- Work comfortably around large trucks, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment as needed
- Follow any specified dress code. If none is listed, closed-toe shoes are required
